Strength or Weakness

People see the smile but fail to see the anxiety that sometimes hides behind it.

People see the success but fail to see the sweat and tears it took to get there.

People envy the destination but didn't see the twists and turns in the road.

People see the perfect relationship but fail to see the heartbreak and the silence.

People see the rainbow but missed the dark clouds before the rain.

Perhaps strength and weakness aren't always what they appear to be.

We never truly know what sits behind another person's smile.

So stop for a moment. Check in often. Be compassionate .
