There but for the grace of God go I.
A sentence I've heard so many times, but today I really felt it.
Sometimes we look at another person's life and forget how easily circumstances could have placed us in their shoes.
Today I'm reminded not to judge, not to assume, but simply to be grateful.
Grateful for where I am.
Grateful for what I have.
Grateful for the grace that has carried me here.

Sometimes it’s only through our own experiences that we truly understand how little it can take for life to turn out completely differently.
Gratitude, compassion, and remembering that we never really know someone else’s whole story… those are things we should remind ourselves of more often.
